So without an internet connection in my apartment it is quite difficult to update this often, but i’m tryin to as often as possible. Lately let's see, i’ve been back at bjj quite a bit, but being sick this lack week kinda fucked with that once again. I had Jem P on my radio, had a nice in depth analysis of his new album that he put out for free (link to the zshare on my website). I have been listening to it on repeat for about a month now since he got me an advanced copy :) It’s such a great album, i’ve been waiting to hear some new stuff from him for a while. There’s 2 more shows this weekend, saul williams and more than lights with kanser tomorow night in grand forks followed by the hookah lounge with some friends :) and then monday is brother ali here in fargo. I’ve been writing some lately and am gonna try to do a track with a good dood i met about a month ago who goes by kentagious, i’ve been diggin his little 5 track cd he got me. Otherwise what else, the weather has been pretty decent lately, i cant really complain cuz it sure beats the snow and wind. I’m very anxious for summer, and possibly a bjj tourney here soon. I also cant fucking wait to see ELLI again soon :) I miss her tooooo damn much!!! That’s all i got for now, gotta study to recover from failing a test yesterday :\ Peace.

Another good wekend, another great show. It was good to see Trey and V again, and nice to hear some new music and artists i haven’t heard yet. Duece, Adapt, and Kool Taj all came out to do the Fargo stop of the All Things Considered tour. It was very dissapointing to see piss poor attendance though. There was also the Hip Hop Summit, Anna Sia at the Aquarium, and a Roller Derby all at the same time, but regardless, Trey Lane has Taken the time and effort time and time again to make stops in Fargo. I hate to see, and feel slightly responsible, every time a great artist comes through and people can’t spend 5 bucks and one night to show them love. I guess it has inspired me though as sort of a last straw to get motivated to rebuild the Fargo hip hop scene from the ground up. Hopefully I can do it, and show every good artist from now on a great reception like they deserve when driving all the way to Fargo ND.
On another note, I feel very optimistic lately. I have feelings for a certain someone, but I’m not sure quite exactly how I feel. I know how I wanna feel about her, but its just sorta complicated. I’m not gonna stress it though, this time whatever happens happens. Not gonna over-analyze, not gonna push the subject, not gonna force myself into it. No matter what she’s my best friend though :) Um lets see also this week or next I’ll be having Jem P on my radio show!!!! His new cd is AMAZING! So I am now 21, and still feel pessimistic about life. Hunter S. Thompson is however inspiring me to say fuck it and be comfortable with who I am. Life is way to fuckin short to worry about what every single person thinks about me. Why should I give a shit, it’s not like they are ‘perfect’ either. Anyway the wekend was crazy fun. Friday we went to see the Fargo stop of the Black Belt tour. Haziq Ali put on a good set even with no voice left. Kipp….of course effin killed it, I swear he gets even better everytime I see him perform! Omaur Bliss had alot energy and I really dug his set, you could tell he was getting into it. And of course Toki fuckin Wright!!! I’ve been wanting to see him for quite some time and it was well worth the wait. A very sick performance, he ain’t no hype man, fucker he’s a live band. HAH it describes him so well. I thank him for calling into my show from a coed bathroom at his show in duluth lol. Funny interview and funny stories from Kipp on my show. And this wekend plans to be more of the same fun and shows with trey lane and kipp both on my radio show tonite, and trey lane show on saturday. I gotta get caught back up with school in my down time with some more tests coming up next week. And i really gotta get back into bjj more often, i hate feelin even this out of shape anymore. And also i really gotta get crackin on my writing so i can have some stuff done by summer time. Peace
